SONATA ARCTICA: 'Reckoning Night' Certified Gold In Finland

"Reckoning Night", the latest album from the Finnish melodic metallers SONATA ARCTICA, has been certified gold in Finland for sales in excess of 15,000 copies. SONATA ARCTICA had previously achieved the same feat with their third album, "Winterheart's Guild".

SONATA ARCTICA's fourth studio album, "Reckoning Night", was released in 2004 via Nuclear Blast Records. A live SONATA ARCTICA DVD/CD, entitled "For the Sake of Revenge", is scheduled for release on March 31, 2006.

As previously reported, SONATA ARCTICA have been confirmed as the opening act for German hard rock singer Doro Pesch (ex-WARLOCK) on her headlining European tour in April/May 2006. In addition, SONATA ARCTICA have announced several headlining shows throughout Europe. A list of currently confirmed tour dates can be found at this location.
